This striking composition embodies a poetic meditation on unity, seamlessly bridging Eastern and Western artistic traditions. Through dynamic gestures and fluid forms, Verdier explores the interplay of nature, time, and space, inviting viewers to reflect on the interconnectedness of all things.
Now available for private sale after its acquisition by a European collector, L’UN (2012) holds a distinctive place within Verdier’s oeuvre. Its significance is further underscored by Concrétion I (2006), a related work featured on the cover of her monograph Entre Ciel et Terre by Charles Juliet, highlighting the enduring importance of this series in her practice.
