Internship - Part Time, Geneva
The successful candidate will be someone who has a passion for contemporary art, enjoys the online business and has a flair for writing.
The Role:
• Assist in the organisation of the platform’s content
• Assist in the coordination of consignments and related customer data
• Research interesting art market events and news
• Assist in the organisation of art files
• Interact with art lovers and art enthusiasts via various online platforms
• Maintain and update contact management database
• Provide support to the team as and when needed
Pre-requisites:
• Some working experience related to the arts or heritage field will be an advantage
• Good working knowledge of MS Office and Dropbox (preferably also WordPress)
• Mature and pleasant disposition
• Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with the public and help with any inquiries
• Good communication skills (written and verbal in English, preferably also French)
• Demonstrated research skills and some Social Media experience
• Ability to understand the eCommerce and online business
• Good team player and able to work independently
This is a part time position, 20-25h per week.
Logistics Manager - Full Time, Geneva
The successful candidate will be someone who has a passion for contemporary art, enjoys the online business world and wants to be part of a dynamic international team.
The Role:
• Prepare and process all import and export documentation and booking of method of transportation
• Prepare estimates around (international) shipping and art work related services like framing, installation and storing
• Control and coordinate all shipments in process
• Responsible for direct customer support regarding logistical services and requests
• Responsible of all aspects of bonded customs procedures, taxes and controls
• Gain customs clearance regarding imports and advise the customer of any required payments due.
Pre-requisites:
• Prior logistic or art moving experience is required
• Knowledge and understanding of different art work sensitivity and material handling
• Good working knowledge of MS Office
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal in English, preferably also French)
• Excellent attention to detail and very well organised
• Good team player and able to work independently
